On July 11th, 2019, the launching meeting of CFPA’s “Hope Village - County Level Social Organization Cultivation Plan” was held in Wenyuan Building of Yunnan University. The leaders of three professional support partners of the “Hope Village Project”, namely Yunnan Lianxin Community Care Service Center, Shaanxi Fuyuanhui Gender Development Center and Yunnan Zhendian Social Organization Development Research Institute, and four county-level social organizations, namely Women's Federation of Shanyang County, Social Work Incubation Service Center of Diqing Prefecture, Hexin Social Work Service Center of Yiliang County and Yuanxin Social Work Service Center of Cangyuan Wa Nationality Autonomous County all participated in the launching meeting.

The “Hope Village - County Level Social Organization Cultivation Plan” aims to promote the integration of social organizations in the rural development field, integrate resources of enterprises, the public, social organizations and governments, cultivate county social organizations, stimulate village vitality and promote poverty reduction.

At the launch meeting, Mr. Tang Houhu, Deputy Executive Director of the CFPA introduced the overall design plan of the “Hope Village Project”. Mainly around the “specialized public services, standardized organizational development and localized human resources” of county-level social organizations and with the “Hope Village demonstration service community construction+ four types of village services (elderly, children, women and industry)” as the entry point, it aims to cultivate a “Hope Village” service team that will not "walk away" for poor counties.

Subsequently, three professional support partners and four county-level organizations shared their experiences and introduced their services in rural areas.

In the afternoon, a project implementation seminar was held, and all sides fully communicated on the design and optimization of the “Hope Village Project”. Focusing on specific issues such as "what to do", "how to do", "output and effectiveness" in the project, discussions were grouped from the perspectives of supporters and county organizations.

On the morning of July 12, Mr. Tang Houhu, Deputy Executive Director of the CFPA shared the design of the joint fundraising for the “Hope Village 99 Giving Day” and introduced the rules of this year's 99 Giving Day as well as the plan of the China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation.
