Father's Day Activities of the Backbone Project —#Father's Superman Moments#

time:2021-06-30

On June 20, the Backbone Project of the China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation (CFPA) launched a Father's Day Weibo activity with the topic #Father's Superman Moment#.

CFPA invited 12 celebrities to participate in this activity as the Ambassadors of the Backbone Project. They call on the public to give their attention and time, to share their fathers’ “superman” moments on Weibo, and to pay tribute to fathers' love.

The ambassadors invited to the #Father's Superman Moment# activity will interact with netizens, help the cause of public good, consolidate the achievements of poverty alleviation, vision rural vitalization, and pay attention to the low-income villagers in less developed areas.

This Father's Day activity uses Weibo as the main interaction platform to call on the public to participate. It gives the public an opportunity to learn more about CFPA's health care projects, and also to care about their fathers at home. They can use the platform to express their love for their fathers.

Since the official launching of the China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation's Backbone Project on July 12, 2017, it has actively guided and gathered social forces to jointly participate in this project. By December 31, 2020, a total of RMB 34,654,890,000 has been raised, with 7.63 billion people mobilized to participate in the donation. The project has provided 11.38 million people in 84 counties (cities and districts) of 12 provinces (and autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government) health protection for registered poverty-stricken households. With this activity, we hope to advocate the public to learn more about the Backbone Project, pay attention to the health care needs of the less developed areas, and jointly support the low-income villagers in the less developed areas.
