Tate & Lyle announces partnership with “China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation” to help improve the health and nutrition of children in China underdeveloped areas

May 20 is National Students Nutrition Day as well as a special day to spread the love and goodwill in China. Tate & Lyle PLC (Tate & Lyle), a leading global provider of food and beverage ingredients and solutions, is pleased to announce a new partnership with the China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation (CFPA) as part of Tate & Lyle’s Healthy Eating, Happy Learning – Children Health Improvement Programme in China. Through this partnership, more than 2,000 primary school students and teachers in China’s Hebei and Hubei provinces will benefit from nutrition plus meals during students class breaks, kitchen equipment for ensuring their healthy meals and nutrition education, with Tate & Lyle committing RMB 1 million in funding. With more than 160 years of research, innovative technology and community involvement in nutrition and health, Tate & Lyle is demonstrating its commitment to its purpose of Improving Lives for Generations and actively contributing to the development goals of Healthy China 2030.
