In 2019, with the sixth "Poverty Alleviation Day" approaching, the Forum on 2019 Poverty Alleviation Day Mobilizing Social Forces in Participating in the Battle Against Poverty, guided by the State Council Leading Group Office of Poverty Alleviation and Development, sponsored by China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation and organized by Shanpin E-commerce, was held at Beijing Conference Center in the afternoon of October 14th. The members of the leading party group of the State Council Leading Group Office of Poverty Alleviation and Development, Hong Tianyun, Vice director, Qu Tianjun, Director of the Social Poverty Alleviation Department of the State Council Leading Group Office of Poverty Alleviation and Development, Wang Dayang, deputy inspector, Luo yong, deputy director of Bureau of Sci-Tech Innovation and Social Responsibility of State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, Liu Guicai, chief engineer of Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs’ Information Center, Zheng Wenkai, President of China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation ,Liu Wenkui, Vice President and Executive Director of CFPA, Ding Yadong, Deputy Executive Director of CFPA and representatives from government competent departments, basic-level governments, internet enterprises, social organizations, universities and research institutes, poor farmers and media, in total more than 300 people, attended the forum. The forum was co-chaired by Huang li and Li Wei from CCTV Agricultural and Rural Channel.

2019 is the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. It is also a crucial year in winning the battle against poverty, which needs the participation and support from all sectors of society, since social organizations are important carriers in organizing social forces participating in the battle against poverty. As one of the large-scale and influential philanthropic organizations in the field of poverty alleviation in China, China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation has been committed to exploring and practicing innovative ways to promote the solution of poverty problems. Zheng Wenkai, chairman of the China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation, pointed out that "poverty alleviation through livelihood development is also an important combination point for the formation of interaction and linkage among the government, the market and the society". He also believed that "in practice, special attention should be paid to the construction of three mechanisms, namely, interest linkage, market linkage and farmers' organized association".

The Shanpin E-commerce have signed cooperation agreements respectively with ByteDance Poverty Alleviation, Sanya City Duty Free Store Co. LTD and Weibo in order to jointly coordinate and integrate high-quality flow, channels and brand resources, support the online development of Yanyuan apple and Ximeng pu 'er tea.
