On Feb.26th, the Launch Ceremony of the Panda Pack Project, cohosted by China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation and Alibaba Philanthropy, was successfully held in Beijing.

The domestic Panda Pack Project was first initiated in 2009, aiming at improving the well-being of children in rural China by distributing school bags with most needed stationery and art supplies. Over the past 9 years, more than 5 million Packs have been received by children in need. In 2018, pilot distributions of Panda Packs were carried out in Nepal, Cambodia, Myanmar, and Namibia.
The Panda Pack Project aims to give out over
1 million Packs in the next three years. In 2019, more than 200,000 Packs will
be received by children in Myanmar, Nepal, Cambodia, Philippines, Pakistan, Laos,
Mongolia, Namibia, Ethiopia, Uganda, Sudan.
