To contribute for sustainable rainwater management and improve water supply for multiple uses through piloting rainwater harvesting cellar at rural households in the project, water cellar project starts from 2017. By 2020, with support from XCMG, CFPA has built 121 water cellars in rural area of Ethiopia to provide access to clean and safe water in a renewable, sustainable and environmentally-friendly way. The project also promotes the protection and development of women and children.
