95 Philanthropy Week: The Power of Small
On September 5, 2019, Alibaba 95 Philanthropy Week Forum was held at China Academy of Art (Xiangshan Campus) in Hangzhou, Zhejiang. Wang Xingzui, Executive Vice President of China Foundation of Poverty Alleviation (CFPA) and Yan Zhitao, Deputy Executive Director of CPFA were invited to attend the event. At the forum, CPFA was awarded as “Best Partner”, and together with Alibaba Foundation, launched the “Chain of Love” Project.
Using the blockchain technology, the “Chain of Love” Project aims to provide an open, transparent and systematic solution for philanthropic organizations. The New Future High School Scholarship Project became the first philanthropic project linked up with the “Chain of Love” Project. CPFA actively participated in the on-site exhibition to publicize the Children Companion Plan, Backbone Project (Health Insurance for Poor Families’ Labors), and Panda Pack Project. By introducing philanthropic projects to the participants, we receive more support from the general public.

In 2019, many charity ambassadors like Xu Zheng, Dilireba, Ma Tianyu and Bao Beier joined CFPA to promote the 95 Philanthropy Week. More than 100 colleges promoted the activity offline, and more than 260 colleges and 100 project areas participated in online activities to promote a philanthropic atmosphere.
