In April 17th, our executive vice chairman, board of trustees Xingzui Wang met with Mr. Hare Mariam, the former Prime Minister of Ethiopia and Ms. Roman Tasfallet, the former first lady, in the China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation (CFPA) Ethiopia office in Addisababa.

Mr. Hare Mariam and Ms. Roman Tasfallet came to the CFPA Ethiopia office.

Mr. Hare Mariam is very grateful for the work of CFPA in Ethiopia, which not only helped the poor people in Ethiopia, but also promoted the civil friendship between the two countries. He hopes that the poverty alleviation and development work of CFPA will continue and expand in Ethiopia.

Mr. Hare Mariam also said that he is impressed by the success of China in poverty alleviation. As a poor country with a large population in the world, Ethiopia hopes to learn the development experience from China. Aim to get rid of poverty in 2025. In the process, he hopes to get more support and experience sharing from China.

CFPA has launched its aid and development projects in Ethiopia since 2015. With our partners, we have delivered ais and assistance worth more than 10 million RMB to Ethiopia and benefited more than 5000 people.
