In 2018, China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation prioritized the launch of Moving Forward Monthly Donation and Alumni Monthly Donation Initiative, disseminating the concept of “More Giving, More Joy” through cooperation with different channels, enterprises and communities, and encouraging people to make regular, consecutive and small-amount monthly donations. By the end of 2018, over 35,000 people joined the initiative and their donation benefited more than 40,000 primary school students in poverty-stricken areas.

Through activities such as the Little Philanthropic Activist and 21-Day Monthly Donation Advocacy, 100,000 people began to follow the progress of the Monthly Donation Initiative. Donors can track the use of the funds through annual meetings for donors, field trips to the beneficiary areas, and Moving Forward urban and rural summer camps.
